"assault" rifle

Zumbo got crucified for saying what millions of Americans are thinking and have been saying across the backyard fence....the name says it all...why do you need an "assault" rifle to hunt animals? and having semi-automatic weapons 'just because' you think we have a right to them? Some of us, and it IS a minority, a VOCAL minority at that, have taken this issue a bit too far....we kill ourselves daily here in America with weapons we have no business having or carrying around....let's use some common sense here.
